Methodology and Scientific Inquiry!

 

        A comprehensive but concise explanation of our methodology in the research. In this regard, we should always remember that as a general development, the challenge within the academic world and the scientific community is increasing, in parallel with the clear success of the scientific enterprise, which has grown in both size and diversity. Several million new research papers are published annually, and the number of publishing authors in 1996–2011 exceeded, according to one estimate, 15 million. Hence, the wide availability of big data and the accumulation of huge amounts of knowledge (available often online) creates new opportunities (as well as bias threats) for the production of scientific knowledge, and they may improve (or vice versa challenge) existing notions of data sharing, data ownership, research planning, collaboration, and replication. The exponential growth, at times volatile and explosive, of the scientific corpus of knowledge allows the investigator new opportunities for studying available research with large-scale evidence and proof as well as for testing empirically their results, conclusions including the production of the most reliable evidence, deductions, and results.

 

 

 

          A key benefit of this approach is the aggregation of crucial information leading to widespread and in-depth knowledge and thus to a more robust corpus of wisdom than is possible from the deductions derived from any separate study. However, in performing a meta-analysis-research like we have done here in our research, an investigator must make choices which can affect the results, including deciding how and where to search for information or raw data, selecting studies based on a set of scientifically objective criteria, dealing with and complete the missing bits of information, analyzing the data and putting the broken pieces of research together to a completed jigsaw puzzle in a way that reminds us on the work of gathering, retrieving, assessing, evaluating and building an intelligence report. Meta-analyses-researches are also often, but not always, important components of a systematic review procedure as we have performed here in our research on a wide scale of studies, scientific literature as well as raw data and information. For instance, a meta-analysis may be conducted on several varying aspects of the research subjects, to obtain a better understanding of how the discussed phenomenon works, its nature, and in-depth dynamics. Here it is convenient to follow the terminology and the use of "meta-analysis-research" to refer to a wide range of methodological methods of combining evidence, approaching other aspects of 'research synthesis' or 'evidence synthesis', such as combining information from qualitative as well as quantitative studies, for the more general context of systematic reviews. As a result, our study displays such critical review of previously conducted research that I included in all crucial discussions here.

 

 

 

          My main methodological approach in this study implies here a technique that is described as Meta-research. It is a scientific inquiry or research that first of all investigate previous existing research with the ultimate goal of finding factually-based evidence from all available sources and disciplines regarding the scientific inquiry including the use of multilingual research as implied by the investigator. It can also be seen or referred to as a research on research as it uses research methods that as aforesaid cover all fields of scientifically available research on the topic of our scientific inquiry and has been described as "taking a bird’s eye view" of the research while still traditionally integrating a thorough investigation into the details". Thus taking a bird's eye view and none dually means including both of the aspects. This process or technique can be described, therefore, as a systemic screening, finding, analyzing, evaluating and synthesizing research results by using various methods to retrieve, select, and combine results from previous separate but related studies. In such approach, the conclusion may vary from the acceptance of the previous research conclusions to adopting a new form of interpretation gathered, in comparison and combination with other parts of the meta-study and its various corners stones of the accumulating specific and every individual research. It does the above by additionally combining various established methodologies like a comparative, interdisciplinary as well as primary and phenomenological approach within the wider frame of the meta-research – analysis as described above. It deals among others with fields such as comparative religions, mythology, spirituality, and esotericism as well as social studies, psychology, philosophy, philology including the behavioral one, geographical research, and many more methodologies in a 'global' context.
